HEAD OF GOALKEEPING
Brisbane-born, Chris Parsons played for Lions FC and Ipswich Knights (Goalkeeper of the Year) before moving to Sydney Olympic, where he helped secure the 2022 Minor Premiership and established himself among the league’s top shot-stoppers. He’s also gained experience within A-League environments at Brisbane Roar and Perth Glory.
As the founder of Zeala, Chris blends 20+ years of goalkeeping with modern coaching; running camps, mentoring youth keepers, and building a performance culture that lifts standards every session.

COMMON QUESTIONS
The academy welcomes goalkeepers of ages 9 to 14. Sessions are split into beginner and elite groups so every keeper trains at the right level for their development stage.
Your $385 term enrolment includes all 8 sessions plus an Easts+ training kit valued at $85. Kit is included to ensure every keeper trains in the right environment from day one.
Your Easts+ training kit is included with term enrolment. Goalkeepers should also bring their own gloves, football boots, shin pads, and a water bottle.
If you're unsure, get in touch and we'll help find the right fit. As a guide, beginner suits goalkeepers newer to the position or earlier in their development, while elite is suited to keepers with consistent training and game experience.
Yes. Casual sessions are available at $50 per session. The full term block at $385 offers better value and includes the Easts+ training kit, making it the recommended option for consistent development.
All term sessions are held at Eastern Suburbs FC, Heath Park — 48 Hilton St, East Brisbane.
